I just purchased a set of the Derby Worx wheels and axles. The wheels don't look like they need any modification except possible tinting. What is the recommended Axel prep? The wheels seem very snug and don't spin freely. Thanks.

Basically, you just need to prep your axles, add your favorite lube and tune the car.

I have worked with the BSA axles for many years. I assume then that the prep for these axles is pretty much the same.
Racer X, these are your wheels, what say you???

Yep, these are ours: 1st. at WIRL Jan, FEB, & Mar. ;D ;D ;D I couldn't resist the plug.
They should spin VERY well out of the bag and have little clearance between the axle and hub bore for EXELLENT tracking.
The clearance can be adjusted by polishing/ sanding the axles to desired size. In stock form, the clearance works well with wet lubes and fine graphites. If desired, size the axles a bit smaller and the slightly corser graphites will work well. The choice is yours.
Personally, I like a closer fit and fine graphite. A great combo on a bored hub.
Good Luck.
