I hope everyone is having a great summer. We are spending plenty of time around the pool and my son is healed up from his broken leg so it is back to practice-training & racing in preparation for the Summer Grand National Championship in late July. This is our big family trip of the summer. We do a little RC gas car racing during the week nights while the weather is nice also. My wife says my life is all: work-race (something) Dose anyone see a problem with that, I don't? What's everyone else up to this summer? Be safe this summer!!! Racer X PS: We are working on a few new go fast thingies here at Derby Worx for next season. Also a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to LEO 234 for the unbelievable wins and records using Derby Worx/Warp Speed wheels and products in several racing leagues, AWESOME!!!

Whats going on? My family and I will be heading to the beach for a week in july. Other than that, Its just working and playing with the kids in the evenings. My daughter signed up for cheerleading again and will start middle school this year. Im not looking forward to that, I just remember how I used to act around girls when I was that age.

My summer hasn't been too exciting, but sometimes that's good.
Racer X, I'm glad that your son is getting over his injuries, and will be able to resume racing. I wish him the best.

Thanks Phil, we need that. It's a little scarry being a parent and doing this but he loves it.
We are heading out this week-end to try our first race since the injury.

Hey Bill:
I can totally relate to what you went through, and are going through, with your son. My little girl broke her left arm in four places at judo practice 2 years ago. Two metal plates and 12 screws later, her arm is back in one piece. She just started judo again this summer. While I'm glad she's back on that horse, I have to admit -- I'm a little nervous.
Nothing special going on this summer. Max and I are going on a week long camp out with his boy scout troop in Arkansas the second week in July. My daughter is taking drivers ed for three weeks next month -- talk about scary. I have to attend a 4 day seminar in San Antonio in August. My wife does licensing for an oil company and is in charge of the company's NASCAR promotions, so she'll be traveling a bit for work this summer. If we can squeeze it in, somewhere, Michelle, the kids and I will try to get away for a long weekend. At this point we are trying to figure out where to "squeeze" it in.
Glad to hear your son is well. Best of luck to him at Grand Nationals. Be sure to let us all know how he does. Later.
