I am happy to report the results of our scouts PWD race this year. Coming in to defend our Pack win from last year was going to be a challenge. We had a little over 30 cars entering this years race split between the 5 dens. Nonetheless, I am very proud to report that using some build experience from last year along with some tips you guys have so graciously offered on the forums, BOTH my boys won their respective den races (Weblos and wolves) and moved on into the Pack race. They went head to head in the finals with Matt (the wolf) finishing 1st . They were very happy to say the least. They both put ALOT of time into their cars this year and it paid off. They were not thrilled sanding their axles and prepping the wheels, but I told them if they take the time to do it right, it will pay off on race day. Not alot of happy parents, lol, since we won it last year as well. But, hey, they did well and it showed from the time they put into the cars. I'm just glad it's over and we're looking forward to our council's first ever district race sometime in April. So, thanks a bunch for all the support and responses on the boards... Thank you!! ;D P.S. I dont have a host site to link or I would show you all what the cars look like

Speedbump,
Congratulations boys. You have good reason to be excited and proud.
Sanding axles and prepping wheels are very important jobs, and you can't win without it. You're responsible for your own success.
Keep up the good work in the District race.
Phil
