Everyone on this board LOVES PWD racing! ;D
Anyone interested in building a 5oz car with bearings and breaking the 3.000 barrier?
Any other mods you can think of?

I'll bet with a little track work, you'll see a sub 3 second run in WIRL this year. Derbymaster holds the record at 3.020, but races have been slower since across the board. It would not suprise me to see it happen this month!!

I machined a set of wheels out of titanium last year and used Boca Bearings, for RC cars. I stayed at 10oz. I think to notice any gains from bearings, you might need to go up on weight more that 10 oz.

Unless the track setup is changed from what it has been over the past few months I think it will be very difficult to get under 3.0 secounds. Have we reached the PW sound barrier?

I thought it would have been done already. They said they had made some adjustments for the August race. Derbymaster ran a 3.021 and you ran 3.037, I figured the sub 3 second run would be right around the corner. Since then, the track fell off over the next two months and has now seemed to stabilize. Any idea's? September was the last total time in the sub 18.4's. I'm puzzled, but use to feeling that way. It's Just great to hear from you guy's!!
