If you liked Duster, Here's our next effort Demon... Cast the canopy/bubble out of old tire weights, was over 6oz before I hollowed out the bottom!!!

FAST Racing,
Duster and Demon are both very nice looking cars. Good luck with them.
Do the dowels with the holes in them come in the kit?
Are the grooves for the dowels pre cut in the block or do you have to cut them yourself?

Thanks!! High Praise from a "legendary Builder" of your caliber The 'raw' blocks come with the dado pre-cut,the dowels have a 3/32" hole drilled in them. The accuracy of the dado's & centering of the holes.....Well.... I use DERBYWORX tools to correct the dowels, works slkrnsnt !! Because our local rules allow extended wheelbase, I flip the block and cut new slots perpendicular to the body with my old DeWalt Radial arm saw.

the color is called "Orange Blast" code PVK 05' Chrysler. Since you have stayed with a MOPAR paint, you don't happen to have a HEMI hidden in there do you?

Hi Fast,
Nice car! What kind of wheels are you running for this car? I just love the extended wheel base. Go Rangers!

boanagers,
I'm in the process of machining down some GPH wheels. Not as thin as 'razor' wheels, about 4mm wide @ tread.
Our rules require screws & narrow rounded wheels (like Duster has).
Hopefully I'll remember to take some pics when I get back to the lathe.....
