I really want to thank everyone on the board who have posted their techniques. My son won his pack overall not losing a race all day.
We did a pretty basic Rail Rider 3 wheeler, not real aggressive 1 1/4 center of gravity. we spent maybe a hour polishing the 2nd set of axles.(over filed the 1st set)
Districts he ran on our 35 ft best track and won tigers
The overall was on a plastic track with no center rail that the webelos ran all their heats on.
His car took 10th out the 12 finalists and only because I had them turn it around after the 1st race last place finish.
I havn't seen much on here about tracks with no center rail.
Can we build a car that is fast on both types of tracks?
