We live in Canada, and have the equivalent of the pinewood derby, which is the Kubkar rally. In the past we have done our own prep, after reading a lot on the internet, and have usually finished in the top one or two places with each of my five older boys. I finally bought the Derbyworx tools this year while working on my youngest son's car, but have had trouble with the Wheelshaver, because the bore on the Canadian Kubkar wheel is about .005 bigger than the BSA bore, and it creates quite a bit of wobble as I use the shaver on the wheel. I did my grandson's BSA wheels when I was at this home in Seattle, and the Shaver worked much better on the BSA wheels. Any suggestions on how to use the tool due to the increased bore size on the Canadian wheels? They are a relatively hard plastic.

Sounds like a new product line to me ... ;D I think we have the same issue with the Awana wheel/axles. They are slightly larger than the BSA so the hub tools won't work.

I was thinking of using the prepped BSA axles. For those of you with Awana wheels, if you use the BSA axles, is there too much wobble with the increased bore size of the wheel?
