Hi, first post but i've learned a ton lurking for a while. My wolf scout did well at the pack level finishing third this year. With districts coming up I built a 3 lane test track to fine tune the car. I noticed at the pack race his car would start to wiggle as it approached the finish line. It did the same thing on our test track so I toed in the FDW a little bit at a time until the wiggle went away. Is this the proper way to handle a problem like this? The COM is about 7/8 of an inch. I realize different tracks will affect the car differently but I'm hoping he'll finish better than middle of the pack at districts this year. He did have the fastest single race time at the pack level. Thanks

If your rules will let you, raise the non dominate front wheel off the track. I think your getting the hang of the steering. Make sure your front wheel has positive camber. This is the top of the wheel leaning out from the car. Your rear wheels should have negative camber. Have you checked to see if your rear wheel behind the FDW is rubbing the track?

I've got positive camber on the DFW and the other front wheel is raised off the track. The rears both have negative camber and stay out at the nail head when rolled forward and backward. I haven't noticed if the back wheel behind the FDW is hitting the rail. I'll have to check that out.
thanks,
Jeff

Other than moving your weight back further I think you've got it!
