I am just wondering what kind of times people are seeing on a 32'best track. I just finished my first modified car and tested it on the Pack's track. Averaging around 2.542 secs. Trying to see if this is competitive. I have attached a picture of the car. It has RSX wheels and am running a rr setup as best as I can. ANy advice or suggestions are more than welcome. Our race is this weekend and we have a pretty tough crowd. The former cubmaster is running s also and has bearings. Not sure how I will stack up. Attachments:

TAKE YOUR TIME DIVIDED BY THE TOTAL FEET THAT WILL GIVE YOU YOUR FEET PER SECOND TAKE THAT NUMBER AND MULTIPLY IT BY THE TRACK LENGTH YOU WILL BE RUNNING ON.NOTE THAT EVERY TRACK IS DIFFERENT.

Just wondering the same thing myself. Ours is this weekend also, and on our test track (32' but about 30' from pin to timer), our best time was 2.46. The track is wood with about a 4' drop. As mentioned before, every track is different so I don't know how it really compares. Sounds like you have a nice car though.
Good luck!

I understand there are differrences from track to track. I actually ran it on a different track and ran a 2.47. This track was 32' fasttrack. Just wondering where I fell in the mix of things.

Heat Lane Time Place MPH 1 1 2.4368 2 202.9 2 4 2.4296 2 203.5 3 3 2.4098 2 205.1 4 2 2.4244 2 203.9
Here are the final results from yesterdays race. I finished 2nd to a car with bearings and s. He only got me by an average of .0121 seconds over the 4 runs. I guess I need to get to work before next weekends race..

I helped make a car that had stock (new style) wheels and axles,no mods to wheelbase, weight 5.0 COM .6 in front of rear axles. It ran consistent 2.54's over 12 heats on a 32" freedom track. Hope that helps. Railrider, 3 wheels touching, finished wheels on wheelshaver xt2. nothing fancy outside of that. Closest car to it was low 2.6's. Small pack not many experienced builders. (they claim I'm a "professional builder" ha ha ha)
