I have most of the Derby Worx tools so far, and have to say we have had great success with them. I haven't tried canting yet but I am very intrigued with the Pro Rail Rider tool. I have a couple of questions though before I buy one. Do I need to be concerned with scratching my super polished axles in either the pro axle press or the Pro Rail Rider Tool? I don't like to even get the oil from my fingers on them after polishing much less put them back in the press. Next, my wheels are generally pretty loose on the axle, I'm sure I'm taking to much off of the axles during the polishing process. Will they have a greater tendency to bind in the bore if the axles are canted? Thanks for in advance!!

As long as you tap gently, you will not mark your axles at all, the part in the press goes in the body.
If you are concerned with protecting your axles, use a small piece of masking or painters tape to cover your axles while bending then clean the adheasive off with contact cleaner.

When building a B.S.A. scout car and using the provided B.S.A. parts you must first remove the flaws in the axles and then straighten (Pro Axle Press) them to make them a good piece with zero runout. From here you make controled bends (Pro Rail Rider Tool) and small adjustments to make the car Rail Ride. Check out out video on our You Tube, www.youtube.com/derbyworxWe hope this helps. Racer X
