My Bear cub and I have finished his car. We ran this years car against last years car on our test track (we don't have a timer). This years car finished about 2/3 to 3/4 of a car length ahead of last years car. How much of an improvement would you say that is? Judging by how close he ran with the two cars that beat him last year I'm hoping he'll be right there at the finish. We'll see I guess.
A few things we did differently this year. I bought the pro body II for more accurate axle holes. We used the pro rail rider and the pro axle press. I made the K-Groove on the axle heads for fine tuning alignment.
Now I just have to avoid over-tinkering with it and slowing it down like I did once already.
One other question I have is rear wheel alignment related. The wheels stay at the axle head rolling forward and back. When I hold the car on it's side with the wheel resting on the axle head it looks like it's dead on straight with no toe in or out. Is this where I want to be on alignment?
Thanks, I've learned a lot here!

It sounds like you're doing fine w/ the rear alignment. Which angle did you use for the rear axles on your Rail Rider tool? 2.5 is usually best for rear, 1.5 for front. Good luck!
