I build Awana Cars. A fellow racer and I are wondering if there is a limit to the performance of said cars. With the track the same from year to year (32' freedom) and the same materials we have hit a wall that no one seems to be able to pass. I thought that by removing 30% of the side wall (drilled 4 holes in it) I could reduce the MOI enough to get faster. All other things equal it didn't change the outcome. The best time we've ever had was 2.543 and this year one blip a 2.549 and a bunch in the 2.55 range. I've been trying to get to the 2.4's. Between the other team and I we just can't seem to get any lower. Any thoughts?
