Geez....hard to believe but my son won his pack again this year. He won his districts last year and he seems to be on a roll! We can't thank you all enough for the help over the last few years.
His car was:
5.0 oz
3 wheeler
axles- the usual and rode on axle head
wheels- you know- usual anal steps
alignment- spot on for the Super Track
Com was a 3/4
Tungsten actually was only 3 oz. That's all he could fit in his sponge bob car!!
Used Hob e Lube
Rear wheels were canted to 2 degrees
*Didn't move .3 to front and no RR due to type of Track.
He had the fastest time of the evening, however on his 3rd trial he was beat by another car by 002. Then came the final. They put all the four finalists on the stage, announced their names and their cars and they had to battle it out. His car won by a half of length. He told me he was nervous, but what a competitive race and a great night!!!
Anyway, we didn't expect to win with the amount of weight, I suppose all the other things my son did were solid. Next year, he plans to move .3 from back to front and put in 3.75 oz of Tungsten. This should get him to beat his times. His fastest time this year was 2.97. He is looking to see if he can be the first to break 2.90 on this Super Track. He holds the 42 foot track record of 2.94. Stay tuned for next season, however, we are so grateful and thankful for all of your help this year- truly.
I will post a picture tomorrow.
There is one happy kid tonight;)

My son had to hollow out the car with a dremmel even to get to 3 oz of tungsten.
