What is the best wheel bore treatment for graphite only races. I have used micro gloss and micro polish but I have read a lot about waxing lately. I know most of you guys are running oil but will a dual or multiple waxing process help with graphite? I have bumped the boundary of my builds and need to take it another step.
To give you some more info I am already:
Polishing the axles to 12,000 grit micro mesh. Final polish is .5 micron paste. Rail rider. Grooved rear axles. Non grooved dominate front. COG/COM around 3/4 depending on car design. I will take it closer to 1/2 on my next builds. Ultra lite 1.0 gram Derby Worx BSA wheels. BSA modified wheels are the only wheel we can run.
Track is 42' best track aluminum and I have been able to get to 3.004. Not fast by elite standards but I feel I am close to sub 3 on my local track.
Any help would be much appreciated.
