While aligning our car some moly graphite got onto the paint on the sides and it won't wipe off. I tried some glass cleaner, but that didn't work too well. Help! The car was a pain and took exceptionally long to align, so I don't want to remove the wheels to touch up paint. Is there something that will take the moly graphite off without ruining the paint

GREENHORN,
IF YOU HAVE A GOOD LACQUER CLEARCOAT ON, IT WILL BE EASIER. REFER TO THE THREAD IN THIS SAME SECTION ON CLEANING GRAPHITE OFF A CAR. THERE ARE SOME GOOD SUGGESTIONS FROM PARRISH, PANZER, & SPEEDBUGGY. GOOD LUCK - HOPE IT WORKS!

I thought I had seen a thread on it before, but I over-looked it I gave it a bump to help me find it when I get home. I have ScratchX in the garage. I didn't even think about it. We used an automotive acrylic lacquer paint and clear so it should work well. It does on my '53 rag-top Thanks guys, much appreciated
