Unbelievable. Any chance we could see a picture underneath? I can't imagine how you did the weigh placement. I you can't do a picture, how about a description? Love the design.

Here's a better picture of the bottom. Entire car is routed out leaving 1mm above the axle slots and even less in the weight cavity. strips are added th allow just under 1/4" of depth in weight area and reinforce axle areas. Cavity is filled equally with stacked tungsten discs with axles inserted and all voids filled with elmers glue to isolate weight and add strength. Weight cavity is then topped with lead. Axles are removed leaving the cavities in the Elmer's glue to re-insert them later. Entire body is then sanded for final finish and thinned to the target weight. I was one of the first making hollow bodied cars and I've made numerous posts on them on Derby Talk, if your interested.
