Just thought I'd share a picture of my new pure stock. This is my first attempt at sending in a car. I have a few minor things to do to it and if I can find the time to finish it before the end of the month I will send it to PDDR for the October race. Was wondering if anyone could help me with one thing. Does the scale at pddr weigh in grams or ounces? And if ounces, how many decimal places? 5.0 or 5.00. I read in another post about a DQ for weighing 5.04. Just want to make sure I dont send in a car that is too heavy. Thanks for any comments or support

You should be okay at 5.04 ounces. ;D but to be on the safe side it would be better to be at 5.00 ounces. After all, it is what the rules state the cars can be no greater than. "Tribute" scaled out okay at PDDR but weighed in at 5.04 ounces (overweight) at Lima this past weekend.

Nice looking car. Did you use Jewkes paint masks for the flames?

The PDDR scale weighs in both ounces and grams. 142 grams should be right on.
