I epoxied my axles in the car to make it nearly indestructible. Now I realize I need to remove them to upgrade wheels and axles.
I'm thinking about using a Dremel high speed cutter and remove all the epoxy under the axles. Then gently pry them out.
Any other ideas?

Grab the heads of axles with pliers and twist. They will come right out. We use 2-ton epoxy on our axles and have never had one not come loose this way, except once when we used to groove our axles. The axle twisted off at the groove. No problem because after taking off the wheel there was enough axle sticking out to grab it and twist. Good Luck.
