Hello, While learning about some new product coming in to my place of work I found that one new item is teflon coated ( truck wheels) and that there is touch up material available in the small containers like automotive touch up paint comes in. Isn't this stuff supposed to be one of the slickest, solid items known? And if so, would there be any possible use as a coating on axle's or the coned hub surface or the body where the wheel would contact? What do you guy's think? Worth experimenting with? Kurt
P.S. Would BSA or proxy racing rules even premit such a coating even if it did work well?

BSA rules vary so much that is a difficult call, in my experience a vast majority would DQ it except in some outlaw classes. However in proxy racing if inserts are allowed I don't see how or why this wouldn't be allowed. We have experimented with a teflon insert and needle axle, worked well. You might be on to something worthy of further pursuit.
