I've been toying with the idea of using tiny Allen grub screws in a small fixture to enable micro alignment adjustments. What I've come up with is a cylinder shaped gimble that uses two grub screws for caster and camber adjustment that would be mounted in a 3/8" bore at the axle positions.
Camber is adjusted through the bottom of the car using a ball tipped Allen wrench and caster is adjusted through a single 1/16" hole at each wheel location extending through the front and back of the car using the same tool.
Do you guys think something like this would be desirable to mass produce? It would likely run afoul of rules requiring the use of stock axle slots, but might be a nice alignment aid for WIRL and unlimited divisions.

Legallity is an issue for WIRL to decide. I have to say that my interest is peeked. Just how deep is the 3/8's hole that this slides into? Also, how many grams does it weigh?
